Sublime, one-of-a-kind earrings showcasing the very best of jewellery craftsmanship and the artisans we work with in Jaipur, India.    The word  jadau means to insert & describes the technique where gemstones (including diamonds, rubies & emeralds) are embedded into the core gemstone, to further embellish a piece.   In this example the host rutile quartz gemstone is set with diamonds in a floral motif.

Material: the earrings are set in gold plated sterling silver. The main gemstone is rutile quartz and the inset stones are diamonds.  The kundan setting around these diamonds is in 24 karat gold.

Details: the elongated hoop fastening has granulation 'bobbles' on it and is 3.5 cm in length.  The main rutilated quartz gemstone is asymmetric in form and is 20 x 25 mm in dimension, at its widest and longest.  The total drop of the earrings is 6.5 cm.

Packaging information: all our products come beautifully packaged and you can select your packaging preference at checkout and additionally let us know of any other requirements you may have!  For example, let us know if you want to add a birthday greeting or make sure an invoice is not included.  A care card is included with each purchase also.

Our beautiful cotton pouches are made of traditional, block printed fabrics from India. We receive a random selection of these pouches - they are made up of odds and ends by the company that produce them for us - so this image gives an idea of the kind of design you receive only.
